What we are
doing, and why.
Product launches, facility milestones, registrations and the occasional difficult admission. We publish the targets we miss alongside the ones we hit, because a newsroom that only contains good news is an advertisement.
Everything else.
Unit III breaks ground with a PIC/S-aligned design brief
Our third manufacturing unit is engineered from the first drawing against the standard we intend to certify against, rather than retrofitted toward it later. Aseptic fill-finish with isolator technology; commissioning targeted for 2027.
Registration granted in three new African markets
Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania have approved a combined 22 dossiers, extending our anti-infective and cardiometabolic reach across East Africa and bringing the group to 24 countries.
Free-clinic partnership passes 220,000 units donated
The programme now supplies chronic-disease medicine to 34 clinics across Sindh and Punjab. No certification depends on it and no regulator audits it, which is rather the point.
Heat-stable insulin formulation enters pre-formulation study
A cold chain that fails in a 45°C summer is not a cold chain. Our formulation team has begun work on a thermostable analogue intended for exactly the conditions our markets actually have.
Zain Ali on why NS-Sons publishes the targets it misses
In a conversation with the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Review, our CEO explains why the annual sustainability report leads with the commitments the company failed to meet.
Glucora-D combination receives DRAP approval
Our metformin and dapagliflozin fixed-dose combination is approved for the domestic market, reducing a two-tablet regimen to one for patients managing type 2 diabetes with cardiorenal risk.
Solar generation reaches 46% of total plant load
The Unit II rooftop array came online in June, taking group-wide on-site solar generation to 46% of electricity consumption — on track toward the 80% needed for our 2027 carbon-neutrality commitment.
Zero critical observations in WHO-GMP recertification
Our general and cephalosporin blocks completed recertification audit with no critical and two minor observations, both closed within the quarter.
Ask us the
hard question.
We would genuinely rather answer a difficult question than have it answered for us. Our communications team responds to journalist enquiries within one working day.
