A pharmaceutical company that contaminates the water table is not in the health business — it is relocating disease and attaching a margin. We reached zero liquid discharge before the regulation required it, because we could not construct an honest argument for the alternative.

This is not a values statement. It is an accounting one.
A pharmaceutical plant that discharges untreated effluent into a water table is producing disease at one end of its operation and treating it at the other. The medicine it sells is, in the most literal sense, partly cleaning up a mess the same company made. That is not a business. It is a closed loop with a margin attached.
We reached zero liquid discharge in 2024 — earlier than the regulation required and earlier than most companies our size. Not because we are unusually virtuous, but because we could not construct an honest argument for the alternative. Everything on this page follows the same logic.

Our free-clinic partnership supplies chronic-disease medicine to 34 clinics across Sindh and Punjab — hypertension, diabetes and anti-infective therapy for patients who would otherwise ration doses or stop entirely.
There is no regulator checking this. No certification depends on it. It appears in no tender scoring matrix. It runs because a person with untreated hypertension in a village outside Hyderabad has the same claim on our output as anyone else, and the only thing standing between them and the medicine is a distribution decision we are entirely free to make.
